We would rather be checked than believed

This page lists what can be verified about us today, what cannot yet, and where the line is between the two. It will grow as the pilot produces documents.

What we claim, and what we do not

We claim to be a registered Pakistani company developing a native-species afforestation pilot in Punjab, designed to Verra's Verified Carbon Standard, with a plan and a timeline we publish.

We do not claim to have any registered project, any validated design, any verified removal, or any credits. We have planted no trees yet. Any figure on this site for carbon removal or revenue is a planning assumption and is labelled as one.

Photographs on this site are illustrative of the kind of forest we intend to establish. They are not photographs of a Pakistan Carbon Reserve site. They will be replaced with our own site photography once planting begins.

Governance

Pakistan Carbon Reserve is a founder-led private company. If a standards body ever places a project of ours under review, we will say so on this page.
